Accreditation
What are LeTourneau University's accreditations?
SACS
LeTourneau is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA. 30033-4097-telephone (404) 679-4501, to award associate, baccalaureate and master’s degrees.
ABET
LeTourneau University's engineering and engineering technology programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission and the Technology Accreditation Commission respectively of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, Md. 21202-4012—Telephone: 410- 347-7700.
IACBE
LeTourneau University's business program is accredited through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
SBEC
Certification is also approved by the Texas State Board for Educator Certification as an undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate, and No Child Left Behind compliant certification program.
FAA
The aeronautical science program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.

What are the computer requirements needed for LeTourneau University courses?
Computers need to comply with the minimum hardware configurations recommended by our Information Technology department. See a list of complete requirements here.
Credit Hours
How many hours does it take to graduate?
124 credit hours are necessary to meet graduation requirements to complete the Bachelor in Business, Bachelor in Psychology and Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies (TEACH).
Faith-Based Education
Is this really a Christian school?
Yes. LeTourneau is an interdenominational university and enrolls students from a wide variety of Christian backgrounds. A deep faith in God is the cornerstone of LeTourneau University. Despite the fact that LeTourneau University attracts students from many nations, cultures and church denominations, our Christian faith and biblical worldview unite our faculty, staff and students together as a community of believers.
