Financial Aid
Attention 2012-13 FAFSA Filers: New policies and procedures from the Department of Education encourage you to complete and electronically submit your 2011 Income Tax documents to the IRS approximately 2 weeks prior to completing your FAFSA. As you work on your FAFSA you will be prompted to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT), and this tool allows your tax information to be imported directly into your FAFSA (saving you time and reducing your chances of being selected for verification). Contact the financial aid office if you have additional questions.
If you are like most college students, you'll need to rely on financial aid to help pay for your education. In fact, over 90 percent of LeTourneau students receive some form of financial aid. Our knowledgeable and friendly Financial Aid staff is dedicated to helping you find the financing options that are best suited to your needs.
Begin by Applying for Federal Financial Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available each January 1 for courses beginning the fall semester. www.fafsa.gov
Priority Deadline: April 15
LeTourneau's School Code: 003584
To sign the FAFSA electronically, you will need a Department of Education (DOE) PIN number. Returning students who do not remember their DOE PIN number may request a duplicate. www.pin.ed.gov
